A Content Studio Plus or Pro account both include weekly access to our powerful clip generation tool. Here’s a breakdown of how your clip credits work and how to manage them.
What’s Included Each Week
Every Plus and Pro subscription receives:
1 clip generation credit per week
Unlimited uploads per week
These credits renew weekly at 12:00 AM UTC on Mondays, which is typically:
Eastern Time: Sunday at 7:00 PM (EST) / 8:00 PM (EDT)
Pacific Time: Sunday at 4:00 PM (PST) / 5:00 PM (PDT)

How Clip Credits Work
Use anytime: Your weekly clip credit can be used on any uploaded video in your Content Studio account, anytime during that week, before the next credit renews.
Clip Credit expiration: Clip credits do not carry over week to week if unused, but expire weekly on Monday at midnight UTC.
Example workflow: Upload your Sunday sermon, and run clips Sunday night or Monday morning.
Number of clips: A 30–45 minute sermon will typically generate 30-50 clips from just a single clip credit. You may download any or all of those generated clips without using any additional credits.
Generated clip expiration: Generated clips expire after 90 days at which point you would need to generate them again (this will use an additional clip credit). Downloaded clips remain on the device to which they were downloaded forever - or until you manually delete them.
Additional Credits
If you need more than one clip generation per week, you can add additional clip credits in two different ways:
1. Powerpacks
Powerpacks are for teams that regularly need to run more than one clip generation per week. Powerpacks increase the set number of clip credits that are issued each week on your account (default is 1 per week). Each extra weekly clip credit is $17/month and will charge along with your monthly subscription - this works out to $4.25 per additional clip credit. Extra clip credits expire weekly on Monday at midnight, UTC just like your subscription clip credits.
The Organization Owner can purchase and manage Powerpacks by following these steps:
The Organization Owner should go to Settings -> Subscription.
Click Add Powerpacks under the Subscription section.
Click the + and - buttons to change the number of Powerpacks included in your monthly subscription. Once you have the desired number, click Review Changes.
The confirmation screen will show you how many clip credits you'll get per week, what you'll pay today, and your new monthly total that includes your subscription and the powerpack(s). Click Confirm & Pay to finalize your purchase.
2. On-Demand
On Demand clip use can be toggled on by the owner of the account to allow team members to generate extra clips as needed. They cost $5 per clip generation and will charge on the following month's invoice along with your subscription fee.
To toggle this on, the Organization Owner can simply click Enable On-Demand on your Subscriptions page, toggle the feature on, and click Save.
Unlike the weekly clip credit include in your subscription, or clip credits purchased through Powerpacks, you don't need to worry about on-demand clip credits expiring, since they are simply paid for at the time of use as a one-time purchase.
In order to ensure you can control costs on your account, On-Demand limits can be managed by the Organization Owner to allow only up to a certain number per month. Simply turn on the toggle to set a monthly limit, choose the maximum number you team can use each month, and click Save.
Note: Setting this monthly limit does not mean you will be charged for this many on-demand clip credits each month. It simply means your team is allowed to purchase a maximum of this many on-demand clip credits each month.
Your team's monthly maximum on-demand clip credits will be updated on your Subscriptions page.
Tracking Clip Credit Usage
The lefthand navigation will show how many Clip Credits you have remaining .
Tip: If multiple team members run clips, coordinate to ensure you don't run out unexpectedly.
