Create and Use Podcast Templates

Podcast templates help you save time by reusing the same intro, outro, music, and layout settings across multiple podcast episodes. Once you’ve created and customized a podcast episode, you can save it as a reusable template for future sermons.

Save a Podcast as a Template

  1. Open an existing podcast episode in the Podcast Timeline editor.

  2. Customize your episode as desired, including:

    • Intro audio

    • Outro audio

    • Background music

    • Timeline structure

  3. Select the three dots menu in the upper-right corner of the editor.

  4. Choose the option to save your podcast as a template.

  5. Enter a name for your template in the pop-up window.

  6. Save your template.

Your template will now be added to your Template Library for future use.

Use a Saved Podcast Template

When creating a new podcast episode:

  1. Select Podcast Episode from the Project page.

  2. Choose Use a Template when prompted.

  3. Select a saved template from your library.

Content Studio will automatically apply the saved structure and settings to your new podcast episode.

Why Use Templates?

Templates are helpful if you regularly use:

  • The same intro and outro audio

  • Consistent background music

  • A standard podcast structure or format

They can help streamline podcast creation and reduce repetitive setup work for weekly sermons or recurring content.

Notes

  • Templates can be reused across multiple podcast episodes.

  • Your sermon audio will still populate as the Primary Content automatically.

  • You can continue making edits after applying a template.
