Once you've created a project and successfully uploaded a sermon audio or video file, you can easily generate a podcast episode from that sermon directly from the Project page! To learn more about creating Podcasts, check out this article.
To make things even easier, you can also create Podcast templates that reuse elements like intro, outro, and music in any Podcasts you choose. The Sermon audio for the specific podcast you're working on will still populate as the Primary Content automatically. Using templates helps streamline podcast creation and reduce repetitive setup work for weekly sermons or recurring content.
Saving a Podcast as a Template
Open an existing podcast episode in any of your Projects.
Customize your episode as desired, including:
Intro audio
Outro audio
Background music
Timeline structure
Select the three dots menu in the upper-right corner of the editor and click Save as Template.
Enter a name for your template and click Save.
Your template will now be added to your Template Library for future use. You can find it by navigating to Templates -> Podcasts.
Using a Saved Podcast Template
When creating a new podcast episode, if you'd like to apply a template to the episode:
Select Podcast Episode from the Project page of the project you're working on.
Choose Use a Template.
Select a saved template from your library.
Content Studio will automatically apply the saved structure and settings to your new podcast episode.
Editing and Deleting Existing Templates
You can view any existing templates by going to your Template Library and selecting Podcasts.
If you click the 3 dot dropdown menu on the right side of the template, you can choose to either edit your template or delete it. Note that if you edit a template your changes will apply to any times the template is used in the future, but will not automatically apply to any podcasts you have previously created using this template.
