Once you've created a project and successfully uploaded a sermon audio or video file, you can easily generate a podcast episode from that sermon directly from the Project page! Remember that this can only be started once your audio or video file has fully finished processing and is uploaded to Content Studio.
How to create a podcast episode
Open your Project in Content Studio.
In the Audio Content section, select Podcast Episode.
After selecting Podcast Episode, you’ll see two options - Start from Scratch or Use a Template.
Start from Scratch
This option will allow you to create a completely blank podcast episode using your sermon audio as the main content. This is best if you want full control over:
Intro audio
Outro audio
Background music
Start and end trimming
Use a Template
Rather than starting with a blank canvas, this option allows you to start with a pre-configured podcast structure from your library of saved templates. Templates can help streamline recurring podcast formats by automatically applying saved layouts or audio elements like intro, outro, etc.

Editing Your Podcast Episode
Whether you choose to start from scratch or use a template, once processing is complete the Podcast Timeline editor will open. From here, you can take 4 different actions:
1. Add Intro or Outro Audio
Use the Add Speaking Audio button in the Intro or Outro sections to upload additional audio segments. These are optional. You can include things like:
Podcast intros
Welcome messages
Sponsor reads
Closing prayers or announcements
2. Add Background Music
Use the Add Background Music option to include music beneath your intro or outro sections. This is also optional, and the music will only apply to those sections, not to the main body of the podcast.
3. Adjust start/stop points
Trim the sermon audio to remove:
Pre-service silence
Setup chatter
Extended endings
Unwanted sections
4. Preview your podcast
Use the playback controls at the bottom of the editor to listen before exporting.

Exporting Your Podcast Episode
When you're finished configuring your podcast, click Export in the upper-right corner.
Content Studio will generate your podcast audio file. This process may take several minutes, and it will show that is is Exporting...
Once is is complete you can download the exported audio for publishing to your preferred podcast platform.
